Eva Chikabadwa is a 28 year old young lady born into a family that did not support her desire to study Art in college. She started practicing art before she even knew how to write. She used to draw on walls of her family house and on anything she could scribble on. She gives credit to her family and friends to must have been the main source of inspiration.
Eva does a lot of Art for instance graphic designing, ceramics, drawing and painting but she  is very gifted in sculpture. She was not doing sculpture until 2001 when she was a Social Science student at Chancellor College and auditing Art. She discovered her passion for Art in 2003 after graduating with a Bachelor of Social Science Degree and decided to go back to college to do Art as a majoring subject.
While in her third year of Art, she exhibited her sculptures at the SADC Women's Trade Fair. Her two pieces, Father and Son Struck by Hunger and Baby of Sierra Leone were bought by the former President Bakili Muluzi and his vice president Justin Malewezi respectively. She is currently doing her fourth (final) year at college.
Eva will grab no job that is not to do with art. She plans to work as an artist and her main areas of interest are video editing and animation. She also plans to do at least a master degree in arts. Most of her art is stylistic meaning. She does not conform to any type of art style or restrict herself to nature but does her designs in any way she wants them to be. Her themes are symbolic and she likes exposing her imaginations and the way she views the world.
Eva is currently working to produce several pieces that are to be exhibited during her academic exhibition to be done at French Cultural Centre early 2009.
At free times she likes dancing, sleeping and eating.
