23 year old, Zimbabwean born, Botswana raised, William Mwale is a young Malawian fine artist who only discovered his talent not long ago but has accomplished a lot in a short period.
William has never stepped foot into any formal art class all his life. He is largely self taught though he received an informal apprenticeship from one of Malawi's finest artists, Nyangu Chodola, who inspired him and helped untap his skills. So far, he has specialised in pencil, pastel & watercolour media, which has helped him earn recognition across the country.
He has exhibited and sold a good number of artworks at Galleries such as La Carvena, La Galleria, Central Africana and Nyanja art studio.He has sold his works to Zambia,United States,United Kingdom and Japan.
